I think a lot of people will love this book, but I just didn’t. Along the way they shafow many supernatural obstacles, backstabbing traitors, and a furry little fox who should have been taken out of richelle mead shadow heir picture a long time ago. These are all things Mead does excellently, and they really saved the book for me.

But I accepted it since I was like no this is going to twist later and maybe be great or Dorian will adopt the children and love them as if they were his own. I can’t stand when a series goes on forever just to squeeze out some extra money, but I won’t get into that here. I will say that I was a little bit frustrated. As many of you know, there’s definitely room for more of the story!

Overall this was my least favorite book in the series for one huge reasonwhich I will not reveal to keep from spoiling the book for you. He totally screwed up Eugenie’s life in Iron Crowned!
